COMPOSTING FUTURES: Growing Soil, Communities, and Sovereignty in Oklahoma
The annual Oklahoma Compost Conference in 2025 marked our ELEVENTH YEAR of the conference! We celebrated with a packed conference agenda featuring a keynote speaker, demos, food, and compost!
We met on October 30 to learn about:
- Residential Composting Initiatives
- Composting in Agriculture/Application
- Worker-Owned Cooperatives & Circular Economies
- Advocacy & Engagement
- Market-driven composting
- Food Sovereignty in Oklahoma
Discounted registration was available for OCASA members, students, and retirees. Members get other benefits too (individuals and entities eligible) while helping us fulfill our mission through workshops, our annual Oklahoma Compost Conference and Compost Festival, and other activities and collaborations that promote sustainable practices at home, at work, and in our communities, as well as, of course, the use and production of compost at all scales!
